is a community of rope and bondage enthusiasts in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and throughout New Mexico, with local events organized by various members. Our goal is to get bondage-centric people together in a fun atmosphere, so we can share our skills and network with each other. We exist to provide a regular space for rope, a social forum for education and sharing, and to encourage peer to peer learning at Rope Jams. Local events, such as play parties, intensives with recognized Rope Educators from around the country, and other non rope jams are often hosted by many of our members as well. We've also recently started our Park Days, a free meet and greet social in local parks where members can picnic, play lawn games, and get to know each other in a very relaxed environment!

We strive to enable a no-pressure, open communication style environment. This applies to all, regardless of sex, role, gender identification, race, etc. Additionally, we believe in and practice consent culture. We expect our event attendees to seek enthusiastic consent from their potential partners, and tie only when this is received and reciprocated. This includes respecting and honoring the word "No".

We're able to organize events through the regular attendance and support of our community. We charge only enough to cover our expenses for the Rope Jam venue's lease. Any overage above our operational costs goes right back into our community for events like Rope Education Intensives and the Educators' expenses.
